It has been quite a few weeks since I last posted a stash report and I haven't been doing too much, but I have been busy - especially at work and with the kids. In the midst, I have been sneaking in a little quilting time here and there.
It started with a birthday, and with a birthday comes fat quarters from my bee. I got a nice assortment of black & whites, so I should be able to finish my easy street leftovers quilt . I also got some nice quilty/crafty gifts for my birthday - including having several books spiral bound, a new travel iron, and a cross-stitch kit.
After all the birthday celebrations, I got going on a few things that used some fabric -- I finished a cross-stitch into a flat fold display, I finished a baby blanket, made a couple laminate bags, started cutting out a new quilt and made a couple test blocks, and started working on one of my row by row shop hop kits. It didn't result in that much fabric used, but I feel like I've been getting some good things done.
I did add another yard of fabric which was left over from a quilt back my mom made and matches a FQ pack that I have, so it will give me enough background fabric to make a pattern I bought earlier this year.
The result of all those changes over the last four weeks is:
Fabric added last 4 weeks: 2 3/4 yards
Fabric used last 4 weeks: 2 1/2 yards
Fabric added year to date: 39 3/8 yards
Fabric used year to date: 49 yards
Net fabric used: 9 5/8 yards
