Two November quilting goals

Hi everyone and thanks for coming back to read about my two quilting goals for November. I don't think I told you how I did on my October quilting goals, so we'll start there.

My two goals last month were to make a back for one of my UFOs and to inventory my table runners. Well, I made a quilt back, but not for the UFOs...so I guess that one doesn't count. I did inventory table runners and filmed a short video where I show all the ones I've made and track the inventory of what I have any what I need more of. It was a fun way to do inventory and since I posted it, several people have reached out to share their favorite table runner patterns.

My original plan for two goals in November was to share a project I've already completed :) but I decided I should push myself just a bit and still set two goals. I have today, next Friday, and then Thanksgiving weekend to work on the goals so I think I can get two things done in that time.

I am going to keep my October goal to make a quilt back for one of my finished tops - since I finished another top at retreat that isn't yet quilted, that means I have four quilts to choose from. One of them may not require a pieced back, but the other three will and I really mean to get going on one of them, maybe one of the two Christmas quilts so that I can have a new quilt for the holidays.

My second goal is a result of some digging around last week to look for some scraps to use for pillows. I had a whole bunch of scraps I hadn't put away, so I sorted them and then found that I had so many, I couldn't fit the new ones into my buckets....so the plan is to find something to do with my scraps. It might be a short term project or might be a longer term project, but I really need to start finding a way to use the scraps. I am headed downstairs shortly and feel like this is where my energy is today, so hopefully by the end of the month, I will have something to share, even if it's just a plan.
