Two June quilting goals

I had to think a long time about what my two quilting goals would be for June as I don't have any specific projects that are at the top of the list right now.

It's always fun to have a new start and I just pulled fabrics for a new quilt, so the first goal will be to get that quilt underway. I want to get the blocks cut and would be great to have them finished (it's a pretty easy pattern). Bonus would be if I can get the blocks together into a top, but not sure that will happen this month.

Fabrics for the new quilt top

It was even harder to pick a second item for the month - I have a table runner that just needs binding, several quilt tops that need backing/binding, and some purse kits waiting to become a purse...but none of those are really calling to me. I do have a piece of mystery fabric sitting on my cutting table that needs to become a project by the time I get to my fall retreat and while I have a few thoughts, I haven't spent much time planning what the actual project will be. So I think that's a good item to be the second goal for the month - I want to have a clear plan of what my project will be so that I can make sure I have the fabrics I need or use some shopping time to pick up what I need.

Bonus projects would be any of the other ones I considered for my second goal or some additional FFOing with fabric - I still have lots of options of projects to FFO that need fabric.

Hope you have some fun goals for your June crafts!

Good luck with your goals for June. Hopefully it will be a calm month and you can get to lots in your sewing room.
You can do it, Jennifer. Can't wait to see the quilt top with the orange and brown fabrics!
