Quilt #11 2015 - Nidia's Christmas Present
My next quilt on the frame is one that my mom made for her friend for Christmas. It is a familiar pattern (my mom calls it L-7) as it is the same she made for the comfort quilt that I quilted just a few before this :)
I thought this quilt looked pretty modern and I wanted a quilting pattern that would match that. I hadn't done this before, but saw this pattern on Instagram and thought I could replicate it pretty well.
It is long wavy lines across the quilt, and I think it turned out pretty well. I used Aurifil in the top and bobbin for this one and it quilted beautifully - no thread breaks :) :) :) The batting in this one is Warm and White.
