Stash Report - Weeks 13 & 14 2013

I missed the stash report last week because my family was taking a little spring break mini-vacation in Kentucky. We took the kids to Mammoth Cave and Louisville for a few days and had a really nice family getaway. I am now looking forward to a longer vacation, but that won't happen until the fall, so we will enjoy our short getaways until then.

Before we left, I spend some time finishing a project which I blogged about here. When we were gone, I visited one of my favorite out of town shops - Among Friends in Louisville. It is a nice shop with a wide selection of fabrics, HQ machines and accessories, and tons of panels. I got a couple yards of Lucy's Crab Shack to supplement the charm pack I got last summer and then a few of the Moda 2 1/2" packs (I can't remember what they are calling them - mini charms?) of some new lines that I really liked. I can't quite bring myself to invest in a larger precut and don't have a specific project in mind, so I thought a mini-charm and a few FQs would be fun to play with.

My additions and usage almost evened each other out!

Fabric added last two weeks: 2 3/4 yards
Fabric used last two weeks: 2 1/2 yards

Fabric added year to date: 9 yards
Fabric used year to date: 19 5/8 yards

Net fabric used: 10 5/8 yards

I am coming up on my 500th blog post in a few posts, so stay tuned. I am planning a giveaway of some fabric in my stash that I won't likely use but that you may enjoy!

Hope you had a great week with your stash - check out today's stash reports linked to Judy's blog to see what others did with their stash this week.

Great blue fabric! Looks like it would go with anything.
Way to go on using almost as much as you bought! :)

Sounds like the local short getaways are a fantastic way to spend time together as a family and see some great sites. :)
