The Reading Challenge

Late last year, I came to the realization that I am good at finishing books when either
  1. They are really, really good, (Gone Girl  by Gillian Flynn and What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty) or

  2. I have a deadline (like a library due date)
Despite reading several books last year, I don't think I finished a single book that was in my room/house. Most of my finishes were library books, with maybe one or two borrowed books with a waiting line.

So, this year, my challenge is to read the books already in my room. Here's the stack of them as of this morning.

I finished my latest library book Saturday (The Hypnotist's Love Story by Liane Moriarty), so now I will start with my challenge. I am about 2/3 of the way through Loving Frank so that should be my first finish. I don't plan to blog about all the books, but will try to update you later in the year on my progress.

Way to go on finishing a book! I don't think I am going to get another one finished before Thursday's review day. And so far, only one finish for the year. :)

Great challenge. I notice that I've been downloading books to read when I should be reading the books in my house too. I think I should do this too, thanks for the great ideal. I'm off on a book hunt.
