A Little Bit of Shopping

A long, long, long, long time ago, Judy had a weekend full of giveaways and I won one! And the one I won was a gift certificate for The Fat Quarter Shop, a great online quilt store. I very rarely order quilting stuff online because I like to see it and touch it (and get credit/punches for it at a local store!). As a result, it took me forever to decide what I wanted. I have been to the website at least 4 or 5 times and couldn't make up my mind. Something kicked in Sunday morning and I decided it was high time I spent my gift certificate. I had a little luck in the book section, then a little luck in the ruler section, then spent a couple hours poring over pre-cuts. I finally whittled it down to one I hadn't seen anywhere and one I've seen just about everywhere (and still like!).

Here's what I got:

1. Little Quilts 4 Little Kids by Anka's Treasures (love her patterns!)
2. Mini Fit to be Geese ruler (I've read about this from several people and my next PIG has flying geese in it, so I thought it would be good to try)
3. A charm pack of Curiosities from Nancy Halvorsen - I haven't seen this anywhere, but it looks super cute!
4. A charm pack of Lucy's Crab Shack by Sweetwater - I have seen this everywhere and thought it would make a fun pool/beach bag.

It's fun to do a little shopping :0) Thanks Judy!

We have the curiosities fabric and it's really cute. I love Heather's patterns as well and hope to get that book soon.
