Stash Report - Week 17

I did a little bit of everything this week, but don't have any pictures to prove it, so you'll just have to trust me. I sandwiched and started quilting my April UFO, finally sent out the fabric for a giveaway I did last fall (!!), put blocks together with my mom and got them most of the way into a quilt top....before we ran out of fabric for the final sashing strips, finished the binding on my February UFO (better late than never), cut out a little coupon keeper, and started adding sashing to the blocks for my charity quilt.

Fabric added this week: 0 yards
Fabric used this week: 3 1/2 yards

Fabric added year to date: 18 5/8 yards
Fabric used year to date: 29 7/8 yards

Net fabric used: 11 1/4 yards

I am about 25 yards behind where I was at this point last year, but I am okay with that since my focus this year is really on getting through UFOs.

Patterns added/used this week: 0/0
Net pattern usage: -3
I didn't think about how to count free patterns on the internet....I am not technically buying them sot they aren't adding to my stash of patterns, but I am not using something I already have, so I guess I won't count them as added or used, unless any of you can give me a good argument for counting them as used!

And since you read this far, you are rewarded with a happy easter picture from my family. I hope all of you who celebrate Easter or Passover enjoy your holiday.

Happy Easter to you too!
Every little bit of sewing and fabric usage counts! And getting UFO's done is at least as valuable!

Looks like a couple of kids had a good Easter.

Good luck with your UFOs. I've been doing the same, it's a long process. It feels good to get them out of the UFO stack doesn't it?

I hope your kids aren't already finished with all the SUGAR this early in the morning since their baskets are empty... No way should you count FREE patterns!
