Stash Report - Week 33

I made it back into the sewing room this week and had a good week finishing up little projects. It feels good to get a couple small things under my belt so that I can get back to/start on some new things.

First off, I made up the kleenex cover kit I picked up a couple weeks ago. It think it is pretty cute, and it is on the list as a holiday gift for the teachers.

Then, I got a couple blocks made for my bee-mates.

And, finally, I also finished up a birth announcement cross stitch for my friend's daughter, who is already 1 1/2! I've had the cross stitch done since late last year, just didn't get around to putting it into fabric until now!

I also cut a little more fabric for practice quilting, so all in all, it made my numbers pretty good for the week.

Fabric added this week: 1/2 yard
Fabric used this week: 1 3/8 yard

Fabric added year to date: 29 5/8 yards
Fabric used year to date: 79 3/4 yards

Net fabric used: 50 1/8 yards

Stay tuned...blog post coming on that fabric addition and Laura Wasilowski's visit to our guild this week.

As a retired teacher, I think the tissue box cover is a wonderful gift. I wish I had the pattern to make for the teachers of my grandchildren.

Looks GREAT! Busting fabric is a good feeling, isn't it?

Love the kleenex cover! Reminds me I need to dig that pattern out and get some made for the upcoming holidays.
