The Late Show

I had good intentions this morning of getting a Design Wall Monday post up early, but it is my last Monday home with the kids for a while, so I turned off the computer and headed to the park with them. We met friends there and had a blast, then stopped by the elementary school to pick up Jenna's letter and supply list. We walked down to see her classroom and her teacher was there. It was great for Jenna to meet her 1:1 and talk to her without all the first day distraction in the classroom. She told me this afternoon that she is going to like her classroom (big happy face!). 


On the design wall/cutting board this week are a couple finished projects and progress on another one. 


The clock is done - I made it as a shop sample for Shiisa Quilts and they will add the clock workings. 

The baby blankets are done and I put them in the mail this afternoon :)) (I am awful about mailing things promptly). 

And another row was added to the Five Easy Pieces quilt last night. As you can see in the upper right corner, the top block and setting triangle are not on the design wall, so I think the next row will be set up will be made on the design bed! I'll just have to keep the cat, dog, kids, and husband entertained elsewhere!
