Design Wall Monday - borders now!

I had a few goals last week, one of which was to get borders #1 & #2 on my Judy L. quilt so that I could show a picture today. I got it done and just love how it is looking. Now the finger crossing begins, because my top isn't exactly the size it should be to make the pieced borders fit perfectly, but my guess is that my pieced borders won't be perfect either (hopefully they'll both be imperfect in the same proportions!).

In addition, I finished quilting a top for my mom. She made this one from a block of the month a couple years ago and will be sending it to a long time friend who is struggling with Parkinson's. I quilted one panto in the border (I think it is called Wildflowers), and another in the block area (I think it is Autumn Leaves). I am really pleased with how it turned out, especially because it was looking kinda iffy on the frame!

This week I am likely taking a break from my Judy L. quilt and will finish up a couple other things. May not have pics for next Monday's Design Wall, but I should have some stash busted for Sunday.

Hope you all have a great week!

Great quilt so far...love your line of hoping that the borders are out by the same proportions!!
Love the quilting!!! You are a champ at the pantos!! I plan on using one on my SIS quilt and possibly Regina's if she sends it to me to quilt for her.
