Stash Report - Week 13

The week started slow, but ended well for sewing. On Friday night, my mom dug into my reds and blacks for a patchwork Santa she is working on. Then, last night, I got into my sewing room and pieced the top for the second Bucket Filling quilt for one of the classrooms at our childcare center. One of the parents painted this one and I found the perfect star fabric in my stash. I also cut the back for it and hope to get it put together today, so it can go back to school this week.

Here's the stash report for this week:
Fabric used this week: 2 3/8 yards
Fabric added this week: 0

Fabric used year to date: 28 1/2 yards
Fabric added year to date: 7/8 yards

Net fabric used year to date: 27 5/8 yards

I love the quilt. Is it a panel that you just had them put their handprints around? The numbers look great!

your quilt is so adorable. I read about your sewing night with your Mom. I do that often with my Mom too. We just bought a Jewel long arm. I may try the loops and stars on a quilt, are the points on the star hard to do?

What a cool project! I just discovered your blog and looked back far enough to see another version of this as well. I'll keep this in mind for the future - my boys are a little big for this at 18 (HS senior) and 24 (hope it is ok that a Duke mom is reading your blog after beating Butler).
