Stash Report - Week 10

Last week, Jenna had a friend over to play on Sunday afternoon while Jack was taking a nap. I took advantage of it and spent the whole afternoon in my sewing room :)

I got my first Bunny Hill block of the month fused,

Made another pillowcase for the million pillowcase challenge,

And got to enjoy watching the girls have a snack (Jenna on the left).

The rest of the week was busy, but I did have time to get a UFO quilted and bound. Just need to stitch it down now. You'll see a picture of that when it is stitched down.

This week, I even went into a quilt shop, where I have a gift certificate, and walked out without any fabric. Is there extra credit for that?

Fabric added this week: 0 yards
Fabric used this week: 1 1/4 yards

Fabric added year to date: 7/8 yards
Fabric used year to date: 23 7/8 yards

I am hoping today to get going on a new purse for spring...guess we'll find out how successful I am next week on the report!

good report - and yes, I'm impressed that you didn't get any fabric. But, I have also noticed that I am also more selective on buying fabric now - I really must want to add it to my stash. Funny how reporting ins & outs have affected our buying habits!

I don't know that there is extra credit but I will give you a pat on the back. I know how hard it is for me to walk out of a shop empty handed. :)

Save that gift certificate for when you need a fix REALLY BAD!

I love the fabric you are using for your new Bunny Hill blocks. I must get started on them: I am way behind.

Actually, I was in the shop on Friday and while I didn't walk out with fabric, I did leave with a new project! lol

What a wonderful post all the way around! I really like your new fused project so far. The girl are adorable. I've been doing a great job of restraint regarding fabric shops. It actually feels pretty good to know that I can be in the midst of it and walk out empty-handed. Good for you!
