Starting to Stack Up

Hi Lois! It has been a few weeks, but I have been thinking about you a lot...just about every time I walk through my dining room or wander into the basement! I have unearthed several more UFOs, but I have the priority ones all divided out among the bee and we're doing great. Check out this stack of projects!

There are a couple in that stack that need to be quilted, but let's take a look through the others....

We had to find someone from outside the bee to finish the hand quilting on this one! You must not have enjoyed hand quilting either, but she finished it off very nicely.

This one only needed binding and there was plently leftover from the back to make it from that. I am guess this one and the one before are going on 20 years old based on the fabrics!

This one was ready to quilt and mom finished it up and I found the binding you had already made for it! Woo hoo.

And finally, Sandy hemmed these curtains for your kitchen. They are so cheery!

We will work on labelling them and getting them over to your sons soon. But the best part was at workday today. I took the pieces and parts of the wedding quilt for your nephew and his wife and the whole bee worked on them. We have the top done except for the borders and Suzie took those home to put on. It was so fun to work together on it and try to figure out what you were thinking when you were working on it! Now I just have to find something to use for the backing....but don't worry, you left me with plenty to choose from!

I'm sure Lois is looking down and she's so thrilled with all that you've accomplished for her.
You guys are so great, finishing Lois' tops. I bet she's grinning ear to ear.
