Well, I have been posting all this stuff about the new year and I haven't even posted my December accomplishments yet! Here goes...
What was on my list:
- Christmas gifts - 2 + 7 for day care teacher gifts - done - the Christmas turned into birthday, and the teacher gifts went down from 7 to 5
- Thank you gift for Jack's day care room (he's moving up to preschool!) - didn't even start it.
- Prep backing, quilt, and bind Christmas tree skirt and put it under our tree before Christmas morning! - Done
- Finish Carnival quilt top - Done, but you'll have to wait to see a picture until it is quilted.
- Quilt a top from a friend that I've had in my closet for way too long - Done
- Finish hand sewing on Reindeer quilt and hang up! - Done
- Start on my snowball challenge - Done
And the things that weren't on my list:
- Top for baby quilt for the Curtis
- Quilted 4 placemats for my mom in exchange for her making a block for me
- Snack sack table runner
- 3 Christmas towels
- Finished cross stitching on baby announcement for Ella
Sorry, but I don't have pictures of any of there to share yet...they will come in good time.
And my goals for January
- Finish and mail Valentine's table topper for Michelle
- Quilt and bind Carnival and baby quilt
- Complete cutting fabric and block assembly for Snowball Challenge
- Pick up and begin the process of figuring out how to store Lois' fabric
- Identify and develop plans for Lois' UFOs so that we can finish the projects she had started, specifically 2 quilts for her twin nieces and a wedding quilt for her nephew and his wife. I am sure we will find more than these 3 UFOs as we start to go through her room!
