I am working on a quilt of valor for my nephew who was deployed to Iraq earlier this year and have almost all the blocks ready for it. I need help!!! I specifically chose the log cabin block because it is so versatile, but now I have too many options and would love to get some feedback on them. Please look at all the layouts below and then vote in the sidebar to let me know which one I should do. Ideally, I would like to add four more blocks, but if the design does not lend itself well to that, then I will just make the last red and white log cabin and finish it at this size.

FWIW, I like all of the ones which preserve the color saturation, the wonky diamonds not so much.
Have you tried placing the blue blocks in the corners? What would happen then?
I like the arrows because I like designs that go out from the center.
